Sidekick Temple by Autonomite

Every hero needs a sidekick.Every sidekick needs a temple.

A custom-built AI workstation that runs your Sidekick locally — no cloud, no subscription, no one else watching. Voice-capable from any of your devices, on a network you own.

What a Temple Holds

Not a server.
A sanctuary.

Each Temple is three things at once: the hardware in your home, the network that reaches it from anywhere, and the workflows your Sidekick uses to make itself useful. We build all three. You own all three.

The robot mascot cradles a glowing graphics card in both hands like a relic, examining it with reverent attention.

The hardware

An AI workstation built by hand, with components chosen for your work and your space. Top-tier processors and graphics, generous memory, fast storage measured in terabytes — enough power to run advanced AI privately on your own machine. Quiet under load, considered in its design, made to last. Every build is photographed as it comes together so you see your Temple take shape.

The network

We set up a private network that links your Temple to every device you own — phone, laptop, tablet — over an encrypted connection only your devices can see. Reach your Sidekick from a cafe in another country exactly the way you reach it from your kitchen. No public address. No company in the middle. Just you, your devices, and your Temple.

The workflows

Concrete automations we build into your Sidekick so it shows up to your day with context. Examples we've built or will build for clients:

  • A morning briefing that pulls your calendar, inbox, and the news sources you care about into a 90-second voice summary.
  • A research assistant that reads PDFs and answers questions with citations to the source.
  • A writing partner trained on your voice that drafts emails, posts, and decisions in your style.
  • A meeting-prep workflow that gathers context from past calls and documents before you join.
  • A journal you talk to instead of type into, that remembers what you've reflected on across years.

Each Temple ships with two to seven of these depending on tier. Your Sidekick runs them on demand by voice or text.

Cloud Cutting

Cut the cloud.
Keep the capabilities.

Every Temple can run open-source software that does the same job as the SaaS tools you rent — installed, configured, and maintained by us, on your own hardware. Same capabilities. No monthly bills. No data leaving your network.

Privacy

Your data lives on your machine, not on someone else's servers. Nothing is mined, sold, or fed to a model you'll never see.

Cost savings

Stop renting. The subscriptions you cancel run into thousands a year, per seat, forever. Your Temple is paid for once.

Resilience

No vendor can hike your price, sunset a feature you depend on, lock you out, or vanish. Your tools keep working — on your terms.

Customization

Open source means nothing is off-limits. We tailor each tool to how you actually work — and you can change anything, anytime.

The Tiers

Three tiers of Temple

Every Temple is configured to the person. The tier sets how powerful the hardware is, how deep the software goes, and how close the ongoing relationship runs — from a first sovereign AI setup to a server-grade installation with a fractional infrastructure partner attached.

A young robot monk novice in a simple grey robe stands in the doorway of a small stone temple-workshop, holding a scroll in the morning light.

Squire

A first sovereign AI setup, built to last. A capable workstation running advanced AI privately on your hardware. Sidekick Forge installed and configured to your work. Your private network set up across every device you own. Two to three custom workflows built into your Sidekick. Voice-capable from day one. Thirty days of close support after launch.

For people beginning their sovereign-AI practice who want a real Temple — not a starter kit and not a cloud subscription dressed up as one.

A robot monk journeyman in a deep-ochre robe works at a substantial wooden workbench surrounded by tools and hardware in a larger temple-workshop.

Knight

A working Temple for practitioners whose days run on AI. A more substantial workstation — enough power to handle the larger AI models that bring real depth to your Sidekick. Includes the full sovereign-infrastructure layer: your own file storage, photo library, document archive, password vault, and optional smart-home integration, all running on your hardware instead of someone else's cloud. Five to seven custom workflows. Deeper integration with the tools you already use. One in-person installation visit (US-only at launch). Sixty days of close support, plus quarterly check-ins thereafter.

For practitioners — founders, creators, researchers, executives — whose work depends on sustained AI partnership.

The Process

Six chapters, from first conversation to your Sidekick speaking from your own hardware.

A robot monk listens attentively as a scroll is read aloud by a figure across the table.
01

Discovery

A 90-minute conversation. We learn what you actually do, what you've tried with AI, what you want a Sidekick to take off your plate, and the room the Temple will physically live in. You leave with a clear picture of whether this is right for you. We leave with enough to write your proposal.

A robot monk works at a drafting table spread with architectural and circuit-diagram plans.
02

Architecture

A written proposal delivered within two weeks of Discovery. The full hardware build explained in plain language. A diagram showing how your devices will reach your Temple. Your custom workflows described step by step. The software stack laid out. Pricing fixed. You approve before any hardware is ordered.

03

Core Build

Hardware procured, assembled by hand, and tested under load. Sidekick Forge installed and configured. Your private network set up. Your sovereign-infrastructure tools brought online. Two to four weeks depending on tier and component availability. We photograph the build at every stage so you see your Temple come together.

A robot monk weaves threads of light into structured patterns at a loom-like apparatus.
04

Integration

Your custom workflows built and tested. Your existing material brought in — documents, notes, calendars, photos, and whatever else matters to your work — and organized so your Sidekick can find anything in seconds. Your Sidekick's voice and personality calibrated to your preferences. One to three weeks.

05

Onboarding

Installation in your home (Knight and King tiers) or remote (Squire). A working session where we pair every device you own to your Temple, walk through every workflow, and answer every question. You meet your Sidekick on your own hardware for the first time.

06

Launch

The Temple is yours. The relationship continues through a maintenance subscription — software updates, AI model upgrades as better ones become available, workflow refinement as your needs evolve, and response-time guarantees scaled to your tier. Squire tier: email support, monthly updates. Knight tier: priority support, quarterly check-ins. King tier: ongoing fractional partnership, in-person visits, custom development as needed.

The Software Inside

Every Temple runs Sidekick Forge.

Sidekick Forge is the AI platform we use to bring your Sidekick to life — a voice, a personality, a set of capabilities and tools chosen to fit your work. Every Temple ships with Sidekick Forge installed, configured for local inference, and ready to run the moment we hand it to you. Your conversations stay on your hardware. Your data never leaves your network. Your Sidekick is yours.

Sidekick Forge is built by the same team that builds your Temple. We don't integrate someone else's stack — we made the stack.

Begin the Commission

The journey begins
with a conversation.

Every Temple begins with a Discovery call. Tell us a little about your work, your hopes, and what you'd want your Sidekick to be — we'll reach out within three business days to find a time.

Tell us in a sentence or two what your work is.
What pulls you toward sovereign AI?
Workflows, partnerships, daily rituals — what comes to mind?
This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

Every application is read personally. We accept commissions we believe we can serve well — not every conversation becomes a build, and the Discovery call carries no obligation either way.
